Peter is a researcher with the U.S. Postal Service, where he leverages data to help USPS leadership make better strategic decisions.
Peter is also a PhD candidate in Sociology at Indiana University, where he also received his MA in 2014. His research blends qualitative and quantitative methods to examine phenomenon at the intersection of culture and organizations. His ongoing research on the contemporary art market (with Fabio Rojas) examines actors’ strategic use of competing institutional logics. His dissertation examines the role of symbolic power and coalition building in the founding of the U.S. Federal Reserve.
Peter is interested in promoting evidence-based public policymaking and is founder of the series Sociology Policy Briefs.
